SHOPPING INFORMATION

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

Currently we use Australia Post and their shipping/courier partners to ship all products. Shipping is free for all orders to the value of $25.00 or more. We usually ship within 24hrs of receiving your order and will supply tracking details with all orders processed through our website.

What is the Xplorer Lifetime Warranty and how does this work?

Xplorer’s NO FUSS LIFETIME WARRANTY will replace your rod for a reasonable service charge for the life of the registered (original) owner. The warranty applies to the Classic 2, Guide 2 and T-50 fly rods for the life of the original owner. Please register your warranty with us online. Currently the fees for replacement sections are as follows: Xplorer Classic II $35.00, Xplorer Guide II $45.00 and Xplorer T-50 $55.00. This fee includes free return shipping on replacement of the correctly fitted section.

Do your reels convert from left to right hand wind and vice-versa?

Yes they do. All Xplorer reels can be very easily and quickly converted to left or right hand wind. When placing your order, simply tell us your preference in the “notes” section of your order and we will happily do this for you before shipping.

Do you carry spare spools and rod sections locally?

All Xplorer reels can come with a spare spool (stock pending). Spare spools can be ordered and added to your shopping cart or you are most welcome to call us directly to place an additional order for a spare spool now or anytime in the future.

We do carry spare rod sections for the entire Xplorer Fly Fishing range. We do this to get you back on the water as soon as possible should you experience a breakage. We aim to do this within 7 days of receiving your rod.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and we have recently integrated with AfterPay. AfterPay allows you to make 4 instalments over a period of time and your purchases are shipped immediately! Shop Now, Pay Later (so good, we know…) Learn more about AfterPay.

We do not store your credit card details ever. Your credit card details are processed by Paypal, our payment gateway.

Do I have to order and pay online?

Absolutely not. You are most welcome to call us to place an order and we will happily take payment over the phone before shipping your order. Please call us on mobile number: +61 410 645 090 to place an order or simply to ask any questions.

ORDERS AND RETURNS

If I am unhappy with the product, can I return it and get a full refund?

Absolutely. We offer a 30-day return guarantee on all our products. We only ask that you please keep the tags, any labels and the product in the same order as it was delivered to you. If the product is faulty, on return of the faulty product, we will happily refund or send you a replacement product including covering all associated return shipping costs.

I really like to hold and feel fly gear in my hands before purchasing, can you send me a product to test?

If you are in Sydney, you are most welcome to get in touch and arrange a suitable time to visit us so you can give any of our rods a cast or check the quality of our entire range of gear. If you are not located in Sydney, we are happy to send out a fly rod of your choice but a deposit will need to be charged against a credit card before shipping. This is 100% refundable if you decide not to purchase (rarely happens!).

How do I place an Order?

Ordering online is the best way to place an order. Simply select the gear you wish, add them to your cart and then proceed to check-out with your credit card handy. Alternatively, if you wish to place an order over the phone, then please contact us on +61 410 645 090.

Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?

Yes you can. Please email or contact us to ensure your order gets immediate attention before shipping.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No account is required to place an online order, however, if you wish to create an account, this will make your next shopping experience with Tackle Safari much quicker as you will not be required to reenter any shipping details.

How Do I Track My Order?

All orders that are parcels will receive a tracking number which will be sent to you once your order has been processed and shipped. A number of our products are simply too small to be sent in a satchel and these will simply be sent in standard Australia Post.
